    PETER PAN WITH RUY DE CARVALHO ON SHOW UNTIL DECEMBER

    The play “Peter Pan”, inspired by the paintings of Paula Rego, arrived at the Mirita Casimiro Municipal Theatre in Estoril, after a brief stop at Colombo Center in September. With an aesthetic faithful to the work of the artist, who inspired this adaptation of Miguel Graça, the show staged by Carlos Avilez marks the 52nd anniversary of the Experimental Theatre of Cascais.

    ISABEL MINHÓS MARTINS STORYTELLING SESSION

    The writer and founder of Planeta Tangerina was in Colombo for a reading session of her book “OINC! The Story of Prince Pig”, which features illustrations by Paula Rego. On September 16, State of the Art organized a free reading session of the book “OINC – The Story of the Prince Pig” by the author of the book, Isabel Minhós Martins, followed by a workshop for children.

    PETER PAN WILL FLY AT COLOMBO

    Only 4 more days until the big premiere of “Peter Pan”, a play produced by the Experimental Theatre of Cascais with Ruy de Carvalho and FF. On September 9th, at 7:00 p.m. Colombo’s Central Square will turn into a grand stage to host the play “Peter Pan”, by James Matthew Barrie, adapted by Miguel Graça and produced by the Experimental Theatre of Cascais. The cast includes FF and Ruy de Carvalho (among other actors) under the Direction of Carlos Avilez.

    FINAL CASTING FOR PETER PAN THEATER PART ANNOUNCED FOR AUGUST 24

    On August 24th, from 3:00 p.m. on, State of the Art and Centro Colombo – in partnership with the Experimental Theatre of Cascais – will hold a Final Casting to elect the two young people (a boy and a girl) that best perform. The two winners will join the cast of actors for the “Peter Pan” theatre play – which the Experimental Theatre of Cascais is preparing as part of the project “Art Arrived at Colombo” and the exhibition “The Fantastic World of Paula Rego” – having the unique opportunity to participate in an unedited theatre play alongside known actors such as Ruy de Carvalho, FF and Bárbara Branco.

    Orchestra Cycle – Last concerts of 2016

    The last two concerts of the Orchestra Cycle, a social responsibility project developed by State of the Art for Sonae Sierra, were held in Centro Colombo, Lisbon with Orquestra Geração and acclaimed Maestro Jesus Olivetti and in Nova Arcada, Braga with the Music Conservatory Calouste Gulbenkian and the participation of 160 children.
