The selection of the 50 best works was carried out by the jury of World Press Cartoon, the largest international event in the editorial cartoon scene, which awards drawings published in newspapers or magazines around the world.

Rui Paulo da Cruz, journalist and cartoonist, was one of the founders of World Press Cartoon and is one of its jury members.
