    ALFA BRAVO – WE DID IT!

    Today, around 200 volunteers helped transform the city landscape of Lisbon as part as one of the largest participatory art projects nationwide. ALFA BRAVO organized by State of the Art and created by artist António Guimarães Ferreira is more than the transformation of a 4km wall, it is a social inclusive project that unites citizens from all backgrounds!

    PARTICIPATORY ART EVENT ALFA BRAVO

    It’s already tomorrow that more than 170 volunteers and 30 coordinators will paint the 3.8km wall creating one of the largest public works of art in Portugal! If you want to see Lisbon transformed, stop by Av. Infante Dom Henrique between Santa Apolónia and the Braço de Prata area! From 9 am to 6 pm!

    Public Art Mural by Vanessa Teodoro

    Vanessa Teodoro’s meticulous work at the Cascais Marina gave way to a spectacular mural! Curated by State of the Art, the art mural featuring graphic brushstrokes with movement (all hand-made by the artist in freestyle), represents the constant evolution of fashion, as well as its adaptability.

    Culture needs more private investment and less state intervention

    The meeting, promoted by State of the Art (SOTA), the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC), in Lisbon and the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage, had as its main objective to discuss the importance of attracting investment from private companies and from patrons.
